We're pleased to announce we've recently launched version 8.3 of the AGL app. This update adds new features including:
Direct Debit Enhancements – improvements to the way customers manage their Direct Debit settings across energy and telco services.
Self-Service Disconnections – improvement and automation of the self-service disconnection flow through the virtual assistant within the app.
Key improvements to Direct Debit
Presentation of payment information including credit card (with expiry date), bank account and/or PayPal
UI Improvements to present a single view of all services (telco and energy) which have direct debit set up
Improved handling of scenarios where customers may want to setup or manage direct debit for services
Key improvements to Self-Service Disconnections
The AGL app with the authenticated built-in virtual assistant can now help arrange disconnection of energy services on a preferred move out date. This feature provides a seamless self-serve experience to customers.
