I understand AGL is required to pay the Qld Government Energy Rebate for concession card holders inclusive of GST. 

 

However on examining my bills from AGL, I am being paid the rebate GST exclusive. So for the 25/26 financial year I received only $351.40 as opposed to the $386.34 I believe I am entitled to.

 

Perhaps other customers who received the rebate should check their bills? The easy check is to look at a 31 day bill on the Qld Government Energy Rebate line and for 2025/6 bill if the credit is $29.83 and for 2026/7 bill it’s $30.84 (give or take a cent or two) then I believe you have not received the GST component of the rebate.
