Update Overview page to include the actual Number of Days showing on your Usage
Page with an expected Amount for the current billing Period
On the Overview Page you show the number of days to the next bill, this is based on the current date.
Electricity
Bill period
19 Sep to 17 Dec 47 days to go
Cost to date $24.07
However on the usage page you can only see days that have been included in your usage, for instance today is 31st October 26, the days reported on usage page ceases at 29th October.
The days are listed as 47 days (to next bill) however there are only 41 days of data showing (up to 29 Oct 26 from a start date of 19th Sept 26, for my current billing period)
Now if this number was shown on the Overview page (say under the Cost to Date as for Billing Days) then all someone would need to do would divide the Cost to Date by the Billing Days to get their Daily Cost.
If they had Quarterly Billing then they would multiply that figure by 90 to get their Expected Billing Amount. (Maybe the number of billing days in the current cycle could be shown)
Now in my case this would be $24.07 / 41 to get Daily rate of $0.59 multiplied by 90 or and expected bill of $52.84
If you wanted you could then BPAY AGL 14* $0.59 to get a fortnightly payment of $8.22 (we round ours up to $10.00).
Now I have been doing this ever since I started with AGL back in April 2019.
Below is my actual data for my usage after decoding the Supplied download file from my usage page, so lets use this to confirm the amount shown on OverView and you can see that I come up with the EXACT amount for my 41days of usage in this billing period.

Now this makes my Quarterly Billing to be $0.59 times 90 to be $52.84
Of course this could be all simplified by just putting the result on the Overview Page as EXPECTED NEXT Bill $X.xx due on Bill Date.
Bill date is already visible on the Usage page anyway.
