Hi Jayden i have called AGL and been told it could take up to ten days to rectify, how can we manage without hot water for this length of time? We had boiling hot water when meter was first installed but I noticed that it was pulling an awful lot of kwph overnight - a lot more than I thought it should be for heating water and no-one got. Ack to me about that and now it’s not heating up at all overnight so not sure what’s going on. I’m not confident that the message has got through, they said so ...

We have had no hot water heating overnight on the controlled load for three days. New digital meter installed three weeks ago and app shows its stopped drawing power overnight / also new water heater 12 months ago. Phone AGL and they said 10 days turn around for someone to come and check the meter but surely we cannot be expected to cope with no hot water got almost two weeks as a family - need to wash - clean pots etc

Hi Jayden, Our meters were only installed two days ago and no, there is no difference in our hot water or anything... there are only two of us live in this house and we are out most days. The water heats up overnight and our quarterly bill is never more than $60 usually, sometimes less. However, I don't even know if the MK7A meter is the controlled load meter, just that it is sitting in the same place and the other meter the MK10D is also registering a lot of kwh over the last two days, so if ...

We had two smart meters installed two days ago - one is an MK10 D and the other an MK7A The readings are confusing and do not correspond with the manual, my readings are like this: EHL1, inl1, EHL2, EHTL, EHL, etc... and each one has a reading already and in 24 hours one reading has gone from zero to 30 kw - normally on our controlled load, we wouldn't use 30 kw in a whole quarter, never mind 24 hours!
