Government rebate not applied to my account yet

Under the Queensland Government’s COVID-19 economic relief package, Queensland households will automatically receive a $200 rebate to help offset household electricity and water costs.

In order to provide this assistance to households as quickly as possible, the household utility assistance payment will be credited to customers’ electricity bills.  I have not yet received this - why?

The QLD Relief Rebate is automatically applied to the billing period which covers the 30 April 2020, you'll be able to see the rebate on your bill under "Previous balance and payments". 


If you're not able to see the rebate, please contact us and we'll follow this up with our concessions team.
