new connection

im unable to get to my new property in time to turn off power for re connection, is this a problem or should i hope the other property tenets have turned it off?

If the power at your new property is still connected then a technician will attend for the simple purpose of taking a meter reading. Please ensure that there is clear access to your meter at all times, and you will be notified if there are any issues throughout this process.
