We have several NMI and meter numbers, how can I identify what each meter is supplying?

Electricity usage recorded by one meter has increased by 2.5 times in the past 6 months.  However, our use patterns and appliance have not changed and therefore we cannot understand why the significant increase.

We are keen to investigate further.  We have at four meters on this same transformer.  Can you please tell me how I can determine what e.g. house, hot water service, pump, workshop etc. that each of the meters are measuring supply?

Thank you in anticipation.

Hi june302020AGL!

Welcome to the AGL Community!

We would recommend completing an energy audit or isolation test to determine what appliance could be causing the increase and consumption, we have this information located on our tips page.

Outside of this, you can speak to an electrician and they'll be able to determine what's wired to which meter for you.

Kind regards,
