How does the free 12 month Amazon Prime offer work, when I already have an Amazon Prime account?

I'd like to think you simply don't pay for 12 months, i.e. Amazon updates to next bill you in ~12 months.

Hi Wemyss30,

I assume Amazon foots some/all of the bill here, so AGL wouldn't be able to pay you groceries instead unless companies like Woolworths/Coles etc. agree to a similar deal. 

Perhaps AGL can give you a more specific reply on your recommendation here.
