AGL Rewards website not working & AGL Customer Service Rep hangs up on me

I have attempted to log onto the AGL Rewards website to purchase an eGift card.

  • When I goto "www.aglrewards.com.au" I then select "I am an AGL Customer".
  • This then opens up my AGL Online account which I log into. Under the "Manage Account" tab there is a link saying "Visit AGL Rewards".
  • When I select this link it brings me back to the "www.aglrewards.com.au" website. I then select "I am an AGL customer" and it opens up my AGL online account.
  • It then continues in this loop.
  • In the "Contact Us" page it states that the number to reach AGL Rewards is 1300397079.
  • I called this number and it just rings and rings and rings and eventually hangs up without anyone answering it.
  • I then called AGL Customer Service and finally spoke to a person who said they would transfer me to the AGL Rewards section.
  • I asked them to ensure they actually speak to a person from that section first to ensure that I actually get through correctly (as I predicted she would just transfer me to the number that didn't get answered).
  • She said that she would and she placed me on hold for several minutes. Then she just simply hung up.

I guess it was just too hard for her to help with this scenario. Thanks AGL (for nothing)

if the IT outages happening to multiple customers the IT dept should have been inform and make it as high priority and all relevant resources pulled to fix this issue.

unless AGL think the rewards is something not a critical services.

thats what’s always being advertise when joining agl with the rewards as a highlighted feature but we are not able to use the service that is part of the product.

disppointed how long this issue affecting many of your customers including myself for the service they can’t use

It's ironic I've just got an email from AGL Rewards ....

oh yeah I have been waiting for month for you to fix the problem !!

I can login to My Account no problem, but click on the "Visit AGL Rewards" link & a page comes up with "WE HAVE MOVED - We are taking you to MY ACCOUNT to check out our latest rewards & offers".  And you end up back at My Account......sigh.

We are pleased to advise that we released an update today that refreshed access to Rewards into the top navigation within My Account.

 

Customers who previously reported the ‘endless loop experience issue’, are advised this has now been resolved. See the full update here.

It has been months since I tried logging in the AGL rewards. Still no solution!!

I was given same advised on logging in and clicking on Rewards.

Which still bring me back to the same error message (see below):

The web page at https://www.aglrewards.com.au/offers/1-coles-supermarket-egift-card?token=paD9gncjaEED4KbzaXtHUGMorh...might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

Can I please confirm if you only encounter this error when attempting to access Coles gifts cards, or all gift cards?

it applies to both "coles" and "keep exploring" tabs. I tried clearing cache and cookies as advised. Still having the same problem.
