We are first time solar users. We have a single story home (4 bedrooms) in a brand new home.
We put in a 8.6kw solar system and signed up with AGL. We looked regularly at our AGL App to see progress through the month.
As we connected the solar about 21 days into our first billing period it still showed the amounts of bought and sold, with a gap of about $40. I thought this would be the amount we would have eventually be billed. However, the first three months first bill arrived for $234.90.
Am am I not reading the AGL app correctly?
why is it so large in to what I believed would be almost zero for the large investment on putting solar on in the first place ($6k investment).
How do I understand the AGL APP better or do I expect my bill to be so large every quarter when I was told I would receive $ ?
i need help to understand the local information I am getting from the app.
