Finding an energy provider

Hi All, I wondered if anyone can help or advise me of what to do. I need to find a power account for a flat I’m moving into, but I keep getting knocked back by the energy suppliers due to undischarged bankruptcy. My bankruptcy has about seven months left to go, but I don’t know anyone else I can ask to put it in another name. It’s a bit frustrating, and depressing not to be able to get the power on.
I am working solidly, and am willing to do any kind of pre-paid option. But the instant they run a credit check it’s an automatic decline. Is there anything I can do to get a more positive result. Thanks for any thoughts.

Hi NymageeGuy!

Welcome to the AGL Community!

We would recommend for you to check the Energy Compare websites to see the other available retailers that may be able to take you on.

The Energy Compare Websites Are:

NSW/QLD/SA – www.energymadeeasy.gov.au
VIC – http://compare.energy.vic.gov.au

Kind regards,
