why can't AGL Close Off accounts when requested????

I have been requesting close offs since June and July on 2 townhouse developments we built. We only build around 1300 per year but that's a lot of new accounts for AGL but they refuse to read meters and bill me the Final bills as requested.


Consequently I have owners occupying their premises with the power still connected in my name and they love free power at my expense.


AGL will read meters and bill me usage by owners or tenants but refuse to Final bill me. I only pay Final bills and I still wait for them and now they want to take me on passing it over debt collectors. 


This is from one the largest energy suppliers in the country and nobody including the "lame duck" Power Ombudsman in Qld will help me. 


Beware of AGL I say as they appear to be dishonest people.
