High Gas Bill

Hi, 

 

We are a share house of four without airconditioning/heating nor a TV. We only use gas for cooking and hot water, but are all conscious of what we're doing. Between our most recent actual meter reads, our average daily use was 309MJ per day. For comparison, this time last year we were only using 35.52MJ daily. 

 

How do we know that there is not a gas leak? May I request AGL to review the bill and share the corrected bill.

you need to contact AGL directly to solve this.

I would suggest that you do manual reads for a week or so to see what you usage is and also have a reading available for when you contact AGL.

 

You can submit manual reads any time you like as well.
