Split the bill

Hi there, We have a rental property that we would like to lease out. It is basically two houses with the one meter etc. It's just the way the house was built to get around council regs a few years back. At this stage as I said it has one meter for gas, water and electricity that supply both houses. Can or will the supplier split the bill Eg: 50% for one house and 50% for the other into two different names????

We do not send split bills for individual meters I'm sorry to say as we will only ever send one bill for one meter. You do have the option of having second meters installed to overcome this issue to ensure that each dwelling is billed separately.
