These messages are a new initiative that AGL have rolled out for our customers that have opted to be billed monthly. As you're hopefully aware, at least half of your monthly bills are estimated. So, with this in mind, we're encouraging our customers to provide their own meter readings (as often as once a day if you wish!) to help us provide you with accurate bills in the instance when we're forced to use an estimated reading.
I feel it's important to mention that you're not obligated to provide us with a meter reading in any way, and that there will be no interruption to your billing if you choose not to!
