Expecting a higher bill this month due to price rise we decided to switch off all our electric heating the last 6 weeks. It made life more difficult because we relied on a wood fired heater. Although nothing else has changed in the house from last year (except our heating is switched off) we have bill showing an average daily use of 63.10kWh compared with 42.10kWh (with heating) for the same time last year. Why??
This bill is horrendous for just one month's electricity use. Something is not right. I need an answer.
