It can be hard to understand how your energy usage can vary from one house to the next. There are a lot of factors that need to be taken into consideration.
You may now be in a different distribution patch, your discount plan may have changed, the age and condition of the house, the age and amount of the appliances, if there are more or less people in the household etc. Also if you have just moved from a household where gas and electricity were available you are going to notice a difference.
