Account in credit + Pay on time Discount

Say my quarterly bill is $1000, and I prepay $750 of that prior to being billed via direct debit, am I receiving the "pay on time" discount on the whole amount or just the remaining $250?

Great question!

The amount of your pay on time discount is purely based on how much electricity you've used for that billing period. As a result, how much of the bill is paid when it is generated will not have any impact on the amount that you receive back in the way of a discount.
