Share your ideas for improving the AGL Energy Mobile App
Some new ideas:
1. Ability to see what plan a user is on on the app including details of:
1a. FIT, Tariff, Supply charge, Solar meter charge, any discounts
2. Usage page should incorporate costs related to daily charges (ATM only solar to grid and cost so far is included)
3. App should be updated in real time or at least daily (especially over weekends when usage doesnt get updated until Monday or Tuesday)
4. Show total "Electricity bought from the grid". ATM only "Sold to the grid" and "Cost so far" are displayed.

We are considering adding a breakdown of your "Cost so far" and "Bill Projection" which will include the above information. For now, you can access your plan details via My Account > Manage Account > Rates & Connections.
Customer feedback suggests a breakdown of usage charges (daily and hourly) containing supply charge would be beneficial, hence we are considering adding this to the mobile app.
Unfortunately we are limited in this space due to external factors - distributors do not send retailers like AGL usage data in real time.
This is in progress, we are adding electricity bought from the grid to the usage page. Stay tuned!
I agree with each of the issues above, as I was about to create a separate post on those. These issues had been fedback 6 months ago, they haven't been implemented in the app yet! How long would it take to get them reflected in the app?
Being a new user, it is quite dissappointing to not being able to check what plan I am currently on from the app. Also, its so slow to update the usage details - today is 15 May, but I can see the actual usage only till 9 May. Solar feed in tariff info is missing altogether since 11 May. My previous providers app used to update all these within 6 hours next day morning, then its difficult to understand why AGL would not be able to do so as well.
The apps usefulness at this point is quite dissappointing.
Hunting all through the app and the website to see details of my current plan.... I have to resort to looking for an email with a link to another website that will show me the AGL Plan Summary. I agree it would be great to see this on the website and in the app too.

We will soon be adding a shortcut in the mobile app as well.
