topic Solar export and charging battery arrangement under VPP in Solar, Batteries & Electrification

I am in SA and with AGL VPP for most 8 years. Normally the battery (Powerwall 2) will be charged from solar until it's full then the remaining solar power will be exported to the grid. I noticed since a few days ago, the solar will be exported as priority. The solar generated power is not going into the battery until after 3:00pm or 3:30pm.

After that time, the operation will return to normal i.e the solar will charge the battery.

I am wonder whether it is part of the AGL VPP strategy of controlling the battery. Does anyone noticed this? Perhaps someone from AGL can answer this.

I rang AGL and got the answer from them. It is NOT AGL controlling the charging method. It is Tesla rolling out this new charging method aim to 'prolong' the battery life.
