topic VPP Overnight issues in Solar, Batteries & Electrification

Here is an example of what is happening with our VPP battery:-

- Lights out at 11.30pm.

- Battery state of charge as at midnight: 56%

- Battery state of charge at 7 am (No solar in yet): 35%

- Grid draw during that 7 hours: 1.8 Kw

Why should any power at all be drawn under these circumstances? Max power use during these hours peaked at 320 watts and was mostly around 100.

I was told by email that Sunverge are treating this issue with priority and that software updates would fix it during April and the end of May. So far, I have not noticed any change at all. I monitor it every night & morning.

What have others noticed with their overnight grid draw?

Over night grid draw is now much better. Last night only 300 watts was drawn from the grid.

Dave
