topic Not reliable in Mobile - General

AGL put me in a serious problem now, I am locked out of services with Vodafone and AGL haven't re-established my connection back. When asked, the customer care staff said the problem was Vodafone. When I called Vodafone, they said it was a prepaid sim and was instantly released. They lie though their teeth, if you can't activate the services instantly, please don't initiate port in, it affects our day to day operations. To make situation worse, they sent me two sim cards for a same phone number, I am now waiting for them to start working or else I can't travel tomorrow without sim card. Stay away from it people!!

Hi @Bdhakal

Thank you for your post and sorry for the delay in my response.

I'm sorry to hear that you had some issues when porting over the mobile number. if it failed it could be due to some mismatch on information.

We have our Help Article on setting up AGL Mobile which includes the information to check depending on if it's a pre-paid or postpaid plan.

It's also important that at the time of porting over the Number is still active with your previous carrier, otherwise this can cause errors.

Thanks, Chris
