topic Inverter Export Limit to 10kw in Meters & Connections

Hi,

I understand the Solar Saver plan has a condition limiting the plan to those with a maximum 10kw inverter. If I were to install a larger central inverter or set of microinverters, and limit export to 10kw, would that satisfy the conditions of the Solar Saver plan?

There seems to be confusion with the eligibility of the 10kW system. I spoke with the AGL solar team yesterday and they confirmed with the AGL solar marketing team that the limit is based on the panel size not the inverter size, I subsequently received an email from them confirming this. I have asked for clarification on this forum as even yesterday a solar installer told me it was based on the inverter. Cheers
