Best Gas meter app?

I have been using the AGL App to successfully self read my gas usage.
Jemena (gas distributor) recommends using the “gas meter mate” from the App Store, to take your own has meter reading.

Does anyone have any preference for either app? Any advantages?

I would prefer to use the AGL app to monitor both my electricity and gas.
Another app for reading the gas seems like overkill.

The reading still goes to AGL but via Jemena app as verified and is stored in the main database so if you change from AGL all your past data isn't lost. I use AGL but am just about to start using the Jemena on, so as long as I don't get double up bills, we should be OK
