Hi, does everyone think it’s better to do you own meter read, or just let AGL do it?

Welcome to AGL Community!

If you have a basic meter then you can enter your own meter reading into your AGL My Account Usage page to see how much energy you've used so far and what the projected bill will be. Your meter will still be read every 3 months by the network and will be updated once this has been provided to AGL. If you have a smart meter then your meter readings will be updated automatically for you.

You can visit our website to see what type of meter you have and how to read your meter.

I have a basic meter. When I try to input my own reading, AGL says I have 2 meters, but I have only one. Where is my 2nd meter ?

Why do you estimate my bill when I send you the meter read in good time?
