Hi there Nori!

That meter type is a digital meter but not a smart meter, this mean the readings still need to be taken manually.

You can request a smart meter upgrade at any time, however we cannot install 3G to your current meter.

Thanks

Hi all, I've purchased and moved to new property recently.

The house has an EM1200 digital smart meter but I couldn't get any daily usage. Then I called AGL and one of the consultants said " your meter number is registered as ordinary meter and not a smart meter in the national database".

How could it happen?

She said if I needed smart meter, I have to make order to swap it even though I already have one. It doesn't make sense to me. Is there any solution like changing registration to activate 3G connection to my current meter?
