Hi, we upgrade our heating system from gas to electricity still our gas bill is high and we are paying for electricity as well.

I can understand that you'd expect a change in your gas usage after changing from gas to electricity for your heating. As there are many factors that go into this, I would suggest checking out our webpage on unexpected high bills and go through the relevant gas ones to see if they apply to the gas bill.

One thing that might apply to this situation that won't be listed is the billing period compared to the day that you converted, as if it was only a recent change that you have made it might fall towards the end of the billing period meaning on this bill you wouldn't see as big of an impact compared to future ones.
