Gas abolishment for knock down and rebuild

Hi,

I am going to have my premises settled next Monday. The vendor is using AGL for gas and electricity at the moment and he is going to disconnect soon.

Since I am going to knock down and rebuild, I need to abolish the electricity and gas. How am I going to do it? Do I contact AGL for abolishment? What are the er steps please?

To abolish the electricity meter, you'll need to contact our New Connections team on 1800 680 430. You can also speak to them on abolishing your gas meter as well or you can visit our webpage on how to Change or Remove Your Meter.
