Hi, I could see info about AGL installing digital meter for electricity. How about for gas?

Digital meters not currently available for gas supply, but hopefully this'll change in the future.

I gather digital Gas meters are available now (at least for Gas Hot Water). About a month ago I noticed in the Meter cupboard on my floor 7-8 units of 12 now have digital(unless they are with a different supplier). There are three Gas hot waler meter cupboards on my floor, the one my unit is in I'm the only unit that is not on digital.

Hi Dlin,

There are some gas meters who have digital displays, but these still do not record data in 15/30 minutes intervals or report this data remotely in the way a smart electricity meter does.
