Good afternoon. I want to add a padlock to my GAS meter box. Postcode 5118. Does the padlock have to be a specific type? Where can I purchase one if previous answer is yes? Any other information I might need?

Generally, you can contact a locksmith as distributors hold a master key for a utility lock which will allow them to access the meter.

However, we would recommend contacting your gas distributor, Australian Gas Network on 1300 001 001.

Response from APA received. Padlock is acceptable and asked we send a key to their office at Regency Park.
