Need gas meter number but cupboard locked

Hi,

I just moved into a rental in a brand new build (apartment building). I need my gas meter number to finalise my supply set up because the number couldn't be located apparently (I imagine because of the building being brand new).

Anyway, the gas meters for each apartment are behind a locked cupboard door on each floor. How do I get access or does AGL organise to send someone out?

The entire building is operated by a singular real estate agent, so do I go via them?

You would need to speak with your Strata or Building Manager to help you get access to these rooms if you don't have any access. You can also find more information on metering here!
