Installation of Valve lock

I would like to install a valve lock for the gas meter in Victoria, but the valve is very basic and only has a handle, does it mean I have to replace the valve as well?

Hi John25,

You should always consult your gas distributor before making any changes to your meter. If you're not sure who this is, you'll find this information in the top right-hand corner of the front page of your gas bill.

It's Multinet. I have contacted them and they told me that I have to contact AGL for installing the meter lock.
