You can add your concession card by using our chat function your AGL My Account in account settings.

Agl advised my concession ceases on 26 Feb. Why? Is it because I am on an overseas holiday? I am back on Feb 28. Will it be automatically re-instated? Why are seniors treated like this?

Hi there,

We validate your concession based on your eligibility with your card issuer.

If we receive notification that you are not eligible for concession your rebate will cease, when this is re-instated we can start applying the concession for you again, you will just need to notify us you are eligible.

However if you feel the concession has been removed incorrectly by AGL, e.g nothing about your circumstances has changed however it is not on your bill, please contact us. https://www.agl.com.au/help-support/contact-us

Alternatively if you feel your concession eligibility has been changed incorrectly contact your concession card issuer (e.g Centrelink, DVA etc.)

Hello Megan,

Does that mean every time a retired person goes on an overseas holiday(
which is one reason why they retire) they will lose their concession and
have to re-apply on their return?
Is there a better way. Can I just use my QLD Seniors card for the
concession? Much simplier I think.
