Poor Internet

has anyone had consistent internet through AGL at all. We have never had consistency where we live and its currently on 1gb with max speeds never higher than 200mb/s.

I have tested at different times of the day.

I have never been able to record shows consistency and its a real pain in the bum.

we are on the gold coast.

has anyone had success with changing providers as most providers blame NBN or should we look at a better modem

yep fttp.. I am on a 1gb plan and the internet when working never runs faster than 250mb at any time of the day.

Wow that is rubbish for an FTTP connection. How are you testing that speed ? Are you connecting by a network cable or wifi ? I'm not on AGL for internet so I don't have any direct experience of it. I have always found whirlpool.net.au a great source of advice for internet issues. I think the relevant place for AGL internet would be https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum/31.
