my gas heater is giving off the very heavy smell of kerosene.not the first time.can you mix kerosene and natural gas.

Being able to smell gas coming from your gas appliances is generally not a good sign, please check our natural gas safety web page on what steps you need to take.

that's not an answer never mentioned gas smell i said kerosene smell.

You may need to speak with a gas plumber to inspect your gas heater for you.
