Anyone else get a ridiculous bill projection. An estimated $1,317 for a single person in a match box of a unit. After years of loyalty, this is how you repay me. Anyone else wanna make a complaint, financial and psychological damage at its finest.

They haven't billed you that, but I agree, the estimates for analogue meters is usually very high, and this is despite AGL saying it's based on past similar periods.

There should be a meter reading contractor out before your next bill is due, then they will send you a bill based on actual usage.

If for some reason it's an estimated bill (no access to meter, dog present, etc) then you can upload your own reading at any time to have it recorded.

At my workshop, the gate is often locked, and there used to be a dog present (docile), but the meter reader would never go back to the box to take the 7 shed readings.

In 2022, I got a bill for $9245.78 for the workshop, when at the time it was usually $200 - $300.

Was quite a shock !! (no pun intended)

Took a call and a meter reading to sort out.

I still have profound feelings of disgust for these common thrives who try to do a hole load of us out of a **bleep**i" and a Sucki and I Singing This Ron/Anton&I....eye, yeaye ea yay!!! I would work everyday ..long hours...if I could gareebtee an hourly wage at beig a well.knkwn and paid who're.. for you...a strong butt, slytty bit of **bleep**, can't will Be happy to...as long as you pay me ..hourly....I want the money on the clock...24/7 &I will work most of the time...

Yeah ours keeps getting estimated over 1K for two people Lo and behold the last bill was just over half that how are they estimating so stupidly high? I have submitted yet another read the daily cost went down but not the projected the daily so far should be just over $450 not $1050 for the quarter. And I’m paying $154 bill smoothing a fortnight….WHY so I feel you and I spent ages on chat with them and they read the meter wrong with the photo they sent, so I submitted my own after reading it correctly then it was read a few days before the bill and it went down a little again, wth agl now projection is high again it’s ridiculous
