refund message

Hi, I've got a text message from AGL yesterday as below;

"Confirming a refund of $223.59 was successfully processed for electricity account ending in [private information removed]"

Actually, I didn't request any credit refund, and the credit balance on my accout is reduced less than my calculation.

Please let me know why you sent me a refund message & where my credit has gone?

Remove your personal info Joe, the account number.

Be aware this sort of message can possibly be a scam, it's quite common if some form of identity theft has happened, stolen bill, old bill from rubbish bin, etc.

Likely with the app balance change it isn't, so finding out about the discrepancy should be easy enough for AGL to explain.

I am Raymond * Removed Personal Information * I have not received any refund as I have been getting direct debit taken from my pension which was $50 an my son was getting $100from his account Before he was jailed but he was getting it taken from his careers pension as he is my career an resides with me so can you tell me how much has accumulated in my account please thank you
