Elegible households can get $500 bill relief payment yo help pay electricity bills.

We are self funded retirees with a. Commonwealth health card. There so many options and as we are 82 years old we don’t know how to do it . We thought AGL could help us

Are you in South Australia ?

I found with a search SA with this available to many households on some sort of Govco payment / health card, there might be other states also offering such rebates.

It says if you already get an energy concession . . .

"You don’t need to do anything. You should already be receiving the bill relief as a quarterly credit on your electricity bills this financial year, in addition to your energy concession.

Look for a description like AUS SA Gov Energy Relief on your bills. If you’re billed monthly, you’ll see the credit approximately every 3 bills.

Your eligibility will be assessed again on 30 April 2024. You’ll continue to receive the bill relief if you remain eligible on this date."
