Special EV electricity rate

Hi : I saw a pop-up in my app re special EV rate of $.08 per kwh from mid night - 6 am. I clicked on it and it said my house does not have smart meter, hence not eligible. Can someone in AGL let me know what this is about and how can I subscribe to this special rate ? Thanks.

Hello Jim, Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us.

To sign up to the Night Saver EV plan you will require you to have a Smart Meter so we can accurately measure how much energy you use during the overnight off-peak EV charging period.

For more information on digital meters and installations, please visit Electricity or gas meter upgrades and removals.

Alternatively, you can contact our New Connections Team and request a meter upgrade on 1800 680 430.
