Hi. I see that carbon offset for electricity is $1 and for gas 50c. Is this the actual offset cost, or a fee on top of the offset?

FAQ doesn't explain pricing. A flat offset cost is a surprise, and a fee would be disappointing.

Hi @CDJ . Great question. It's just a flat cost - $1 a week for electricity and 50c a week for gas, that goes into certified carbon offset programs. For more information on how the carbon offsets work, check out this article on The Hub: What it means to offset carbon
