Peak, Off Peak and Shoulder periods for gas in Melbourne

Hi there,

Could someone please advise if the peak, off peak and shoulder periods for gas in Melbourne are the same as those for electricity, as in peak (3pm-11pm),

off peak (11pm-7am) and shoulder (7am-3pm)?

Welcome to the AGL Community!

In short - no, there are not different rates for gas usage depending on time of day you use gas. In some areas of Victoria, there are peak and off peak period however again these are not specific to the time of day but the time of year instead.
