&lt;P&gt;Thank you for your post.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There are a few things which could have affected why the bill could have increased, while your usage appears to be unchanged.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you were receiving estimated bills before it got changed to a smart meter, then a reading would have been obtained as they changed the meter over causing a catch up of usage.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm more than happy to look into this for you.       <title>Unusually high electricity bill</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My last quarterly electricity bill was $765, billing over the last year was around $230 to $320 per quarter. Smart meter was installed 2 weeks into the billing period and apparently the reading from the old analog meter has shown a very high reading. I can't understand this as during this period there was no extra usage and we were not actually at home for a few days. I have contacted the resolution service with this problem but have not had a decent response.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
