App for VPP events

The website for the AGL VPP is showing a app that can be downloaded from Googleplay that shows State of Battery Charge, VPP Summary and VPP events. It appears when this is downloaded that it is just the standard app. Do you have an app for the VPP events or not??

Great question!

There isn’t a separate app just for VPP events; everything is shown in the standard AGL app. Once your battery has passed technical verification and starts participating in the VPP, you’ll see VPP details appear in the app, including battery charge, VPP events and summaries.

Until your battery is verified and orchestration begins, the app will look like the regular AGL app, so VPP event information won’t appear just yet.

Great stuff as I’ve long tried to find how I can monitor my vpn with AGL.

How may I find out what status my AGL account is to enable vpn monitoring?

I understand I’m connected to the AGL vpn and have been for some time however I can’t see any VPN ‘events’ at all on my AGL app?

Hi @PetePam

Connection to the VPP can take up to 4–6 weeks. Once your system is connected, it will appear in your app.

If you’re concerned that it’s taking longer than expected, you can email batterysupport@agl.com.au, and the team will be able to provide more information on your connection status.
