@Azadouhi

The easiest way to do a payment plan is to set up automatic payments from your bank account to the Bpay option on your latest bill.

That way you have complete control over your payments, you can increase or decrease payments based on your predicted billing.

To get your predictive billing simply log onto your account go to billing and then calculate your average billing daily cost.

For instance my last billing shows as :

26 Jun to 23 Sep 2025            90 Days     $177.22

So divide the 177.22 by 90 to get your daily cost ( $1.97 in this case)

Multiply that by 14 (if you get paid fortnightly) to get $27.30. ( I would pay $30)

Just remember that there are only 6.5 payments in a 90 day billing period so your payments are 6 ($180) in one billing cycle and then 7 ($210) in the next billing cycle.

Log into your bank account and set up Bpay to auto pay on your payday.

As you get each bill you can vary the payment if necessary to maintain a credit.

We have been doing this ever since we started with AGL and by paying more than necessary we get a cheque sent from AGL every July and never have to worry about paying our bills.

This financial year so far we have $620 credit in our AGL account and our next bill due on the 22nd Dec 2025 will be approximately $140, so after this bill we will have about $480 credit. NOTE: This amount includes the $150 we received from the Federal Government this financial year and your bills for this financial year will include the $75 Federal amount and should be added to bills where this was used.

If you opt for the Direct debit account, AGL will automatically deduct the full amount due from your nominated account, if your bank account does not have sufficient funds the account will not be paid.

Your aim should be to have sufficient funds in your AGL account prior to bill be issued (or be that close that you only have to do a small top up amount to finalise the bill).
