High GAS bill

Hello! I received an email notification from AGL on July 31st, informing me that an additional gas fee of AUD 437.95 will be charged in my August bill. This came as a great surprise to me, and I am wondering what has caused these charges. I normally reside overseas, and this property is only used occasionally. During the period of May-June this year, two of my friends stayed there for nearly 30 days while on vacation. However, I do not believe they could have consumed such a substantial amount of gas. I kindly request AGL to provide me with a detailed explanation regarding the AUD 437.95 gas bill. Thank you.
