Direct debit fee

Who else is disgusted by agl charging a fee for direct debit it’s so wrong I’ll be moving to a company that doesn’t charge this fee. It’s not a credit card but actually my money I’m using to pay the bill.

We apologise to hear the service you received from us has not met your expectations.

If you pay your energy bills using a credit or debit card, or any card that uses a credit card payment facility, we are charged a merchant service fee by your financial institution, this is included in our terms and conditions.

There are other payment methods that do not incur a payment processing fee, including BPAY and Paypal.
