comparing AGL energy plans

Hi.

We're building a new home in the Illawarra, and AGL will be the providers of electricity and gas.

We were offered AGL's Standard Retail Contract, OR AGL's "New Home Plan" for electricity, and the "AGL Value Saver" for gas.

Does anyone have any experience of this, please? At first glance, the Standard Retail Contract looks more expensive, but it looks complicated.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Welcome to Neighbourhood! Standard Retail Contract rates are Energy Regulator rates. If you're after discounted offers, currently Value Saver plan with variable rates is the cheapest option in most states. You can view all our current plans here.
