I have an apartment that has been leased out to tenants and they recently vacated.

do i have to do anything regarding electricity and gas? or whenever the next tenant moves in they put it in their name.

I am just concerned if tenant that moved out does not pay for their account,would power get disconnected?

Or are they chased for their payments?

Hi robert1257, It's up to tenant when they vacate to arrange closure of their account. If you require power at the property it is best to arrange a connection to ensure the supply remains active, you can arrange this here, if you don't need the power on the new tenants can arrange a re-connection once they are ready to move in.
