Forced onto Residential Demand Plans

I received an email telling me my plan was changing on 2/8 from my old Essentials plan to the single rate Value Saver plan. If I did nothing the email said I would automatically be transferred to the single rate Value Saver plan. After I did my research I found that the single rate Solar Savers plan offerred the best value for my usage. However when I log into my AGL account I find that only Residential Demand plans are available, and no single rate plans are shown to be slected. Why am I being restricted to Residential Demand plans? I did not agree to this and I haven't been advised of the move to Resiential Demand plans.
