What’s New: GenAI Now Live in AGL Assistant!

In June, we rolled out an exciting upgrade to AGL Assistant - our virtual assistant is now powered by Generative AI!

This means when you reach out for help through AGL Assistant (on agl.com.au, in My Account, or through the AGL app), you’ll now get faster, more accurate, and more helpful answers - tailored to your specific query.

What’s new?

Previously, the Assistant relied on pre-set responses and links to Help & Support pages. Now, with Generative AI in place, it’s smarter and more conversational. It can:

Understand your question in more detail

Respond using up-to-date content from our Help & Support pages

Offer information that’s clearer and more relevant to your needs

By tapping the chat icon in the AGL app
